Jul 3, 2024 | Colour Club News

Hello 💗

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new Website for The Colour Club!

Over the past few months, we have been working alongside the amazing Anna from Anya Design Studio to create a fresh, vibrant and user friendly space just for you!

We can’t wait for you to explore our new look and enjoy all the fantastic features we have added.

Our new website is designed to make it easier for you to find all the details on our classes, camps & celebrations in the club. Whether you are looking to join a class, book a party, sign up for a camp or upcoming event or just see what’s happening at The Colour Club, our new site has got you covered!

Please take a moment to check out our new website, and don’t forget to share it with your friends! We hope you love it as much as we do.

In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at what’s been happening over the past while in The Club as we head into the summer holidays!

Rising Moon Workshop

Run over a four week period in May & June, we hosted a very special mentoring circle with the lovely Sinéad from Rising Moon for 10-12 year old girls along with their mother / mother figures. Together we explored rites of passage and shared guidance for navigating puberty with joy, intentionally & strength. Thank you to everyone who attended and for all the positive feedback from all the girls.

Pop in & Play

We had our last Pop in & Play on last Friday.

However we will be back for a few weeks in the summer on Friday’s from 2-3.30pm the dates are: the 12th, 19th and 26th of July and the 2nd of August!

Film Premiere

Last Monday we hosted a very special small group screening in the club with The Nurture Room of the film ‘Where the Olive Trees Weep’ featuring Angela Davis & Dr Gabor Mate to raise money for the children of Palestine. It was great to get together and do something small in a time that we all feel so helpless and to join in the conversation on the global struggle for liberation. We raised X amount.

Wicklow Arts

We were so delighted to be asked to host a workshop for Cruinniú na nÓg in the beautiful surroundings of the Tearmann Community Gardens in Baltinglass on the 13th of June. We created a colourful little corner, filled to the brim with paint, crayons, pencils, markers and lots of bits and bobs for everyone to explore. We loved every minute of it as it was great to meet all the lovely people in the Baltinglass community.

T-Shirt Designing Workshop

At the end of May we hosted an amazing T-shirt Designing workshop with the wonderful @gentlenudgeclothing where each child got to design their very own t-shirt and shortly afterwards Gentle Nudge brought these designs to life by printing them onto t-shirts. We were blown away by the imaginations and creativity of all the children and thank you to Glauce from @gentlenudgeclothing for facilitating this amazing workshop.

“Hello, How Are you?” Event

For the third year in a row we held this super event “Hello, how are you” with Mental Health Ireland. It’s a totally free event and it’s a fun, relaxed get together suitable for all ages. The campaign is all about connection and engaging in open conversations about mental health. The campaign asks individuals, communities, workplaces, friends and family to say Hello and ask the question “How are you”? Asking this small question and having one conversation can make a real difference in someone’s life. The event was held in The Colour Club on the 15th of May and we had a fantastic turn out of lovely friends from the community come to the club for a cuppa and a chat and even a bit of a laugh!! Thank you to everyone who attended on the day and joining in on this fabulous initiative for Mental Health Ireland.

Thank you for being part of the colour club community, we look forward to seeing you soon!

We hope you like our NEW website.

Colourfully,
Rachel 🌈
